Two venues in Louisville, Ky., are under consideration for the event, the KFC Yum! Center and Freedom Hall. The KFC Yum! Center seats up to 22,000 and hosts the University of Louisville's men's and women's basketball teams. Freedom Hall is the previous home to those teams, and seats up to 19,000.
UFC on Versus 3 will be headlined by a welterweight bout between Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann, and of course will air on the Versus network. A middleweight bout between Mark Munoz and C.B. Dollaway was also announced for the event on the WEC 53 broadcast on Thursday.

Penick's Analysis: They've got a number of markets in the U.S. they still haven't tapped into yet, so heading to Louisville with a Versus card event is a good idea here. This should be an enjoyable event, and that main event fight has a lot of potential for a great fight. The fans in Louisville will be excited for the UFC to finally come to town, and it should bring a good audience for the show.
