A long, long time ago (February of 2000) in a galaxy far, far away (Tokyo), Dan Henderson faced Renato "Babalu" Sobral as part of the Rings King of Kings tournament. Not far removed from being an elite Greco-Roman wrestler, Henderson won using his wrestling to control the baby-faced, doughy Sobral and won by majority decision. Click ahead to around the 2:30 mark and stay tuned for about three minutes to see the best action.
Both fighters had plenty of bouts before this one, so they are hardly unseasoned. Still, you're not seeing the punishing strikes from Henderson or the slick submissions from Babalu that we've become accustomed to more recently in their careers.
They'll face off for Strikeforce this Saturday in St. Louis. Do you think this fight will resemble their first one?
